Double plated Neutronium Alloy Hull (Federation Universe Technology built for added resistance from Kinetic and Energy damage, Not useful against Plasma based weapons.)
Dielectric Oscillation Resilient Shields (Each shield facing has a maximum energy capacity of 8612.2 units. Archer missal pod can take 400 units, MAC can take off 750 units.)
Polarized Parabolic Deflector (Used for any type of scanning, communication, ship subsystems and helps lighten the load of ship shield array.)

The Yamato can also target multiple targets using a Beam Fire At Will protocol for the beam based weapons, and Torpedo Spread for the torpedoes (Fires 5 torpedoes at each facing ship within a 90' arc)
The Yamato unlike all UNSC ships uses a interchangeable console system to upgrade the performance of this ship in certain situations
Current Consoles are as follows.
Engineering consoles: 1x Borg Assimilated module (gives more power to weapons plus adds omega particles to all beam weapons, this will make targets hull easier to penetrate.), 1x Federation Supplemental Subsystems Console (choice of ether more power to weapons, or applies Energy damage to closest target. Max range of 2km) 1x Chevron Separation Console (This console allows the ship's Chevron Saucer and Stardrive sections to separate. This also gives the Stardrive more power to weapons as it doesn't have to feed power to the Chevron).
Science consoles: 2x Federation Field Generator (Gives more power to shield regeneration units) 1x Work Bees Console (This console allows the ship to deploy four Work Bee CMUs (Cargo management Units) that will follow and repair the vessel or an allied vessel.) 1x Plasmonic Leech (The Plasmonic Leech enhances all of your energy weapons. Any energy weapon fired will now also drain the target of power and transfer that power back to you.)
Tactical consoles: 3x Federation Antiproton Mag Regulator (Gives extra damage to ANTIPROTON WEAPONS ONLY) 1x Aquarius Escort Console (This console allows separation the aft mission pod of the starship, which will deploy an Aquarius Escort. The Aquarius is a small attack craft that will follow the Odyssey Tactical Cruiser and attack enemy targets.)
