infiltrator yl-492 mission log system logs BREACH DETECTED REPORTING... REPORTING... REPORT FAILED A/R/F? {USER ACTIVITY} ABORTED {USER ACTIVITY} DEACTIVATING MAIN THRUSTERS DEACTIVATING SFT DRIVE USER DISCONNECTED infiltrator activity The infiltrator moved carefully through the ship's vents. A small transport, but an important cargo, or so it seemed. She had been found in the system, and it was only a matter of time before someone would come looking. Thankfully, she had multiple drones, in case one was found. And one already had been. She was down to three, two of which were attached to vital systems. Fifteen minutes at most.. Ten, fifteen minutes, and a full team of fifteen commandos would be onboard, and with a commander as well. Of course, that's assuming she could survive that long unseen. Dropping into an unstaffed control room, she deployed her last drone, using it to lock down the room, leaving only access to the other control room across the hall, and track the cameras nearby.

When you were an AWOL former UNSC infiltrator and wet-work specialist for hire sometimes, only rarely, transportation between different planets was highly difficult and required more than a little bit of ingenuity. See thanks to Xia-Yu's rather recent sabotage of a small meaningless UNSC outpost on a planet, the only human inhabited area apart from a small space port and village, a lock down had been put in place to prevent people from leaving the planet while the UNSC searched for the intruder. Sadly for the UNSC this worked to Xia-Yu's advantage as she made the most of the fact the UNSC were distracted to sneak upon a small transport vehicle in order to get off world. Being hidden away inside of the engine compartment of the ship was hardly a pleasant experience but it was dark and possessed many good hiding places which had allowed her to evade detection by the UNSC. The moment the transport landed on its' destination planet Xia-Yu would vacate the engine compartment pretty quickly, get off the ship and escape to civilian areas then from there she'd find a way to get in contact with Insurgency agents and escape back to the planet upon which her residence was located. Xia-Yu was very grateful she had undergone her tri-monthly dialysis treatment before starting this mission as it seemed very likely she'd be unable to get to her equipment any time soon. "Sleeping" inside her hiding place Xia-Yu was barely aware of the sounds around her however the A.I which assisted in running her mechanical components was far more attentive and upon detecting the sound of foot steps aroused Xia-Yu from her slumber.
Grateful she had the on-board A.I Xia-Yu would have pat them upon the head but alas Zian was only A.Data and B.A very simple A.I who probably wouldn't have understood the concept of gratitude. Crawling out of her hiding place uncurling her mechanical limbs like an octopus Xia-Yu crept low to the ground crawling through the engine department until she came upon a human wearing red and orange clothing. She quirked a curious eyebrow at this, silently removed the SMG attached to her leg and employed her suit's magnetic clamps. Attaching herself to the walls Xia-Yu silently climbed up to the ceiling and crawled over the drone patrolling below; it was true people rarely looked up, Once close enough she quietly dropped herself down from the ceiling and crept up behind the Infiltrator without making a single sound. She wondered why this person, who was clearly not a member of the UNSC, was in this control room. Once close enough Xia-Yu pressed her gun to the back of the infiltrator's head and hummed softly. "If you're here to sabotage this ship..would you mind waiting until I get off? I bare no love for the UNSC but I found myself needing a ride." Hopefully the infiltrator would understand that Xia-Yu was not here to stop them; she merely wanted them to wait until she managed to get off the ship before sabotaging it. Xia-Yu's suit sadly lacked protection against the hazards of space or an on-board oxygen supply so she really didn't fancy the idea of getting sucked into the cold blackness of space.

infiltrator yl-492 mission log infiltrator activity "Get that gun away from my head or I set off an alarm calling down the entire staff of this ship to this room." The infiltrator was already in enough of a situation without a rogue on the playing field. "This ship is getting hijacked, and we're taking what we're after. There's something important in the cargo bay, and it's ours now. Once we have it, we're leaving." The infiltrator stood up. "The alarm's on a dead man's switch. I die, it goes off." She started opening a cargo bay to the vacuum in preparation for boarding. "Eleven minutes to go."

Xia-Yu had a feeling this human was calling the bluff. It was highly unlikely that anybody would willingly call down the entire ship's security on themselves but the thing was Xia-Yu didn't feel like taking the risk. She hmmmed to herself and kept her weapon pointed at the back of the infiltrator's head contemplating the situation. Sure she could kill this intruder but then that'd trigger the deadman's switch and sound the alarms which would just ruin Xia-Yu's attempts at a simple hitch hiking. "Fortunately I care little for the UNSC. I was more concerned you were here to crash the ship. Seeing as how your group are going to prevent this vessel from reaching its' destination would you be willing to give me a lift to a planet with a space port? I am in need of a ride to a certain planet you see. I'm willing to assist you in acquiring this..cargo of yours.[/color]" Xia-Yu lowered her gun and holstered it on the side stepping back and folding all of her arms. She had no idea what exactly the cargo on this ship was and Xia-Yu really didn't care however she had known it was there and was in fact planning to use it as a distraction so she could slip away from the cargo ship unimpeded. Of course sadly that plan had now been pretty much shattered apart by this infiltrator's group and their plan. Honestly Xia-Yu didn't care for either group involved in this little situation however she needed a lift to a planet with a space port and it was either help the UNSC or help this infiltrator which would never happen as the UNSC are the worst military organization ever who would fire bomb and almost kill their own soldiers.

infiltrator yl-492 mission log infiltrator activity "We aren't stopping in at one of their planets. We can't afford the risk. We can leave this ship operational, their sensors are down, so they can't actually tell who's boarding them. As far as they'll know, it was just pirates or something, You should just lay low, my extraction team will be here soon. We'll be in and out before you know it."

It was a shame that the Infiltrator's group wouldn't be willing to give Xia-Yu to lift anywhere but she supposed she should at least be grateful they weren't here to scuttle it so all the AWOL had to do was lay low and hitch hike. While she was planning to merely lay-low and await the Extraction team's arrival so they could do their business Xia-Yu did in fact want to assist them in this operation as not only were she curious what this cargo was she also wanted to assist in anything that would screw the UNSC over. "Fair enough..however if you do not mind me asking what exactly is this cargo?" Depending upon the answer to that Xia-Yu may decide to actually go through with her desire to assist this infiltrator in throwing a monkey wrench in the UNSC's plans. She hated the UNSC for what they had caused to happen to her so any chance to take revenge was a opportunity the AWOL could not resist especially if it meant she could make this extraction go off without a hitch. "You wouldn't be here for the cargo would you? I've heard the soldiers talking about some sort of high priority cargo but I've no clue what it is." It was a fair assumption to make that this infiltrator and her people were here for whatever high value cargo this ship was transporting.

A Spartan? A Spartan? Xia-Yu was surprised that such a small ship with a small crew number was providing transportation to a Spartan but there you had it. In fact there was actually one logical reason why a Spartan would be on such a small ship with a small crew and such low key appearances and that would be stealth. See Spartans were one man armies essentially able to do pretty much anything and complete any mission regardless of difficulty or at least that was what UNSC propaganda had you believe. Xia-Yu smiled to herself beneath her suit's helmet amazed that this infiltrator had no idea what she was even here for. It was kind of silly and displayed a vast lack of trust between commander and subordinates which was integral to any operation's success; after all if you didn't trust your own soldiers with important information how on Earth could you expect them to trust you? Xia-Yu folded every single one of her arms and shook her head side to side. "Oh my..you've been sent to secure a Spartan and do not even know what they are? Spartan are super soldiers. They are genetically enhanced to be faster, stronger and smarter than any normal human. One Spartan has enough to physical strength to flip tanks over." Xia-Yu sighed to herself amazed by what kind of a mess she had somehow landed herself in. Lately it seemed she had been encountering a lot of Spartans almost as if some vast controlling intellect was somehow putting her in situations with high probability of meeting Spartans but for what purpose was unknown.

infiltrator yl-492 mission log infiltrator activity "Oh, it's one of those things. Uzira took one down a while ago, They put up a real fight, I heard, even wounded. Well, a full team should be able to mop them up easily. Fifteen commandos don't go down without a fight. Those modified blast rifles they carry go through just about anything. Those guys are crazy dangerous." The infiltrator looked at the timer she had set, and stood up. "Sweet, they're here. Or, they will be in about 30 seconds.. Well, if you're coming, feel free, but otherwise you might want to lay low. This is gonna be... Interesting, for sure."
